This bundle was the very first product I ordered from MyProtein back in March 2017. After a rough Christmas and a five year bout with alcohol and binge eating I weighed in at the beginning of the year at almost 200 pounds (nearly 14 stone). I'm a short lad in my mid 20's and although this weight might look 'normal' on a male at my age, I could certainly see just how overweight and unhealthy I was getting which was really impacting my confidence and self esteem. I made a vow to change my life around before I ended up going even further downhill. I've had a few ups and downs along the way, had a few occasions where I've not been to gym for an entire week and just eaten junk food. But the important thing for me was every time I fell off the wagon I'd steady myself and get myself back on it eventually. By June 2017 I managed to fire my weight down to 168 pounds (12 stone), by doing 40 minutes of high intensity cardio 5 days a week and finishing off the last 20 minutes of a workout by doing light stretching and basic weight exercises. 5 hours of training a week is all it took for me to blast the weight off and change my life around, and still on a Saturday I drink beer and binge eat, but the other six days a week I eat completely clean meals, work out and avoid alcohol at all costs, and believe me I feel so much better for it! This bundle, in particular the CLAs and the Protein Power, are so useful for recovery and repair so that you can workout every day. Feeling sore the day after a workout can really put you off going, especially like me you can only get yourself in the gym super late at night or first thing in the morning before work. Taking appropriate supplementation and eating protein rich meals makes so much of a difference. Don't see Protein Power as extra calories on your diet, you NEED those calories to keep your body going so that you can work out! Yes, the tablets are quite big and can be a struggle for some people to swallow but I had absolutely no problem. My only issue was that the Thermopure would give me slight heart burn, even if I only took one capsule, and make me feel a bit uncomfortable during workouts so I dropped them out of my diet. I guess that's down to me though and my reaction to caffeine, my other friends have been fine using them in the past. Since August 2017 I have switched from predominately doing cardio to now doing strength training and weights exercise. This bundle is also great for that too as long as you're eating an appropriate amount to be able to gain muscle. Don't be put off by gaining weight back if it's fat you're burning and muscle you're gaining, forget the scales and look at yourself in the mirror, measures your arms, hips, thighs, waist etc, and keep checking them every few weeks. You'll notice the difference! Overall this pack is great value for money for any starter, but remember it's what you do with the supplements that makes all the difference. You must exercise and get your body moving for this to work! Goes Well With: All ranges of training and exercise. Also good to mix in BCAA's for growth and repair. I am really pleased with these products. Have used all and have seen an immediate drop in weight which was nice after a plateau. Found the protein powder makes me feel great post work out. Only criticism is that I find the powder too sweet.... if the sweeteners were scaled back would be perfect! Will still renorder tho as I just chug it back and enjoy the effects  Goes Well With: Pre work out drink
