What is Caffeine?
Caffeine is an alkaloid that acts as a stimulant to the Central Nervous System (CNS). It is also a mild diuretic and can increase the body's metabolism. It can be found in varying quantities in the beans, leaves and fruits of over 60 different plants with the most common sources being the coffee plant bean and the leaf of the tea bush. Caffeine is widely recognised as being the most popular drug on the planet.
Caffeine is a powerful stimulant which can increase mental alertness and improve physical energy levels. It can help decrease physical fatigue, improve clarity of thought, increase focus and physical coordination and reduce the sensation of being tired, making it particularly effective for sports such as weight training. Moderate use seems to be desirable by both men and women as excessive use can sometimes produce undesirable effects.
Caffeine is a cheap and convenient way of helping to restore mental alertness or energy when experiencing tiredness or drowsiness.
Who is Caffeine supplementation suitable for?
When should I take Caffeine?
We recommend consuming 200mg when a physical or mental boost is required. If you’re looking for an ergogenic benefit to aid your training, we would suggest taking your caffeine around 30 minutes before training. Due to its stimulant nature, in order to avoid any issues with sleep, it is best not to take caffeine too late in the day.
Warning: Please be careful when dosing Caffeine as it is a potent powder and can cause bad side-effects when taken well above the recommended amount. It is recommended not to consume more than 200mg (approx. 1/16th of a teaspoon but we recommend using digital scales) in one serving.
As a dietary supplement we recommend consuming 200mg when a physical or mental boost is required.
Add two thirds of an MP mini scoop (200mg) to your preferred amount of water or fruit juice and consume immediately.
Do not exceed more than 200mg in one serving (approx. 1/16th of a teaspoon but we recommend using digital scales). Please do not exceed more than 3 servings in 1 day (600mg).

"By far the worst thing I have ever tasted-(It made me vomit when i tried to drink 200mg mixed with a very strong diluted blackcurrent in 600ml bottle.It does what it is supposed to do but i will definitely need to buy soft gels to take this.Dont get me wrong I love this site and its products but this is an honest review- For me this is impossible to consume.The price is brilliant and as i drink many high caffeine content energy drinks i was shocked that the tiny ammount i did swallow had an effect.I hate coffee though so maybe people who like the taste of coffee like this, but if you dont like coffee but like very sweet or sour energy drinks i suggest the capsule form and open 1 to taste this."
