Omega-3s are essential polyunsaturated fatty acids that your body can’t make itself, so you have to get them from your diet. They’re found naturally in fish oil — meaning it can be difficult to get enough of it from what you eat alone, if you don’t eat enough fish in your diet.
What is omega-3?
Omega-3s are a group of essential fatty acids that play numerous important roles in your body. They occur naturally in one of two forms, triglycerides or phospholipids. As your body cannot produce omega-3s on its own, these fatty acids must be sourced from your diet.
Three important omega-3 essential fatty acids include ALA (alpha-linoleic acid), EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). DHA and EPA play a vital role in human physiology as they have benefits such as helping to support heart health.1
Where is omega-3 sourced from?
Our Essential Omega-3 is sourced from fish. If you are following a diet that excludes fish but are looking to supplement your omega-3 intake, it’s worth taking a look at our Vegan Omega, which is sourced from marine algae.
Alternatively, our Organic Chia Seeds are a natural, plant-based source of omega-3-6-9 and protein, and are a great addition to a healthy, balanced diet. They’re a versatile ingredient that can be added to your shakes, oats and bakes.
Our Packaging
We’ve gone through an exciting redesign, and as we step into a new era, you’ll see fresh packaging in your orders. Change is a good thing. But change takes time. Especially when you make change responsibly.
Because we don't believe in wasting perfectly good packaging — that would go against our sustainability pledge — you might get a mix of old and new designs inside your orders.
Rest assured, it’s still the same consistently high-quality product, just as you’d expect. If you happen to receive classic packaging, know that your order is helping to reduce waste. And if you receive anything with a fresh look, you’re one of the first, and we'd love to hear what you think.

Better health
Not ever expecting to feel rapid results with these kind of supplements. But it’s never going to harm anyone to add additional nutrition where it may lack in the diet at times. Always feel better when taking them anywayÂ

Essential Omega 3
Take one every morning as a substitute for oils and things I don’t eat. I take it along with other vitamins etc and can say I’ve been less tired, more motivated and have less gut pains or any reflux etc, I would definitely recommend, especially if your a fussy eater as it helps get nutrients you don’t eatÂ
