bought unflavoured pea and rice protein. good value, very quick delivery! it is the first time i use it.
texture is a bit sandy but not a big issue. however the aroma/flavour is not great at all (i am being diplomatic!) mixing it with frozen berries or chocolate powder does not help at all and is still very challenging drinking it.
i'd have bought flavoured type if there was one with Natural Sweetener such as Stevia.
i will definitely go back to unflavoured whey/milk protein.

As this is the first protein I have ever taken I found it extremely effective. I am not overly active at the moment, I do a bit of yoga during the week and that is about it, but I have noticed a huge improvement my muscle strength and tone. I have alot more energy and in general my overall bodily functions are coming along just nicely. The protein is unflavoured which means I can mix it in to whatever meal I like. It's brilliant. Goes Well With:I like to mix it in with my porridge in the morning. Start the day off with a good kick.

As I do not tolerate lactose well, I thought I'd give Pea Protein Isolate a try. It's good value and overall it is good, but the taste isn't. I always bought unflavored supplements before and never had problem but this one is really bad. I mix it with milk to mask the taste a little bit.

The Pea Protein Isolate is a great product. I use three heaped tablespoons of splenda to cover the taste. It's very cheap and does the job.Goes Well With:Splenda

Everyone is going on about the taste which is a bit rough but if u mix it with FlavDrops and Oats it's quite nice. What i want to know is has anyone had any good muscle gains from using this protein over a period of a few months ?
